I'm a passionate photographer, and started taking photographs in college. I went to UNC Chapel Hill, and graduated in 2003 with couple of degrees in completely unrelated fields. After graduation, I began working as an engineer for Cisco Systems and moved to Minnesota. Since the move from North Carolina, I married my high school sweetheart, bought a house, and decided to start my photography business. Other interests include travel, language, reading, gardening, cooking big dinners, and web design.
I was recently asked what my philosophy was for photography. My photography is clean, it's honest, it's candid, and it has a unique perspective on my subjects. Be it getting on the floor with a baby to see their world, or sitting walking with a Groom in the minutes before he sees his Bride for the first time. It's about putting yourself where the emotion is. It's what I love about photography, and I hope you'll see that in my photos.
